TREND OF THE SEASON- PEARLS

One big trend that has been all over the fashion scene is PEARLS.  If you would have told me last year that I would be wearing pearls I probably wouldn’t have believed you.  But this trend is not your grandmother’s pearls but a more edgy and fun look.

You can go subtle with this trend by wearing a statement earring like this one or an embellished purse like this one.  Or you can really have fun with this trend by wearing a statement jacket like this one.

In the past pearls were only worn on special occasions or fancy events and now you can wear them casual with denim or a sweatshirt!

Here I’m wearing a fun sweater from H&M that I paired with my black crop denim and my favorite white booties.  Since my sweater has the pearl embellishments I skipped a necklace and paired it with statement earrings instead.
