I am totally CRAZY for polka dots right now so I wanted to share this trend with you. The fun thing about polka dots is that its a classic print that you can wear casual, dressed up or with some edge.
When wearing polka dots there are three big things to consider : 1- the size of the polka dots 2- the color 3- the silhouette. Wearing a bright yellow dress with large red polka dots would be a total fashion disaster.
To keep your look classic yet stylish I recommend sticking to small sized polka dots. For the color scheme I love the classic black and white print but you can mix it up with different colors as long as either the dots or the background color is neutral or a soft color. And then when it comes to the silhouette as always you need to make sure you have the perfect fit whether you are wearing a cute romper or a flowy top.
Here I’m wearing a Charlotte Russe polka dot romper with a fun knot detail at the top and a cute ruffle at the bottom. I love this classic black and white polka dot print and how it cinches at the waist for a perfect silhouette. I paired it with my go to black fedora and my favorite Stella & Dot jewels.
Here is another look with polka dots. This Shein off the shoulder top with cute ruffle is very on trend while the polka dots keep the look classic. I’m still crushing on the blush pink color right now so I instantly fell in love with this top. I paired it with my favorite crop denim and Stella & Dot jewels to complete the look. You can also pair this top with cut off denim shorts or denim overalls to make the look more casual.
