My Master Bedroom is finally complete with the last finishing touches being my new bedding. I've been working on this space for over a year and absolutely love how it turned out. I'm going to walk you through the specifics below including a few easy DIY pieces that you can easily incorporate into your own space.
First off I went with a clean bright white aesthetic with small pops of colors and a mixture of textures. My new bedding is from Cozy Earth and it is the softest + coziest sheet and comforter set EVER. Its made from luxurious bamboo and is totally worth the splurge! Plus you can get 50% off site with code JACLYN50. I layered some neutral textured pillows and throw blankets to warm it up. Of course Rod made the headboard and you can see more of his work HERE. He's done tons of pieces through out our home.
A couple of months ago we added the rug and really feel like it completed the space. I found it in store at Home Goods but found a very similar one HERE. Matching night stands are old from Target and of course our artwork is from Minted. The light fixture is actually the first piece I bought when I started decorating the space and I still love it!
The dresser is a great affordable option that you can find at Ikea. We just spray painted the black knobs gold as well as our old night stand light fixtures. You can see more about it on my HOME story highlights on Instagram. Most of the little decor pieces on my dresser are from Target, Home Goods, World Market and Amazon which are my favorite home places to shop!
By far my most asked question about this space is my decorative hat wall. Best part is it's an under $20 DIY that's super easy to make. I've got a complete DIY post on how to make it HERE.
In the corner of the room I put together a little seating area + display our kids baby photos with mix matched frames. Of course Rod put in one of his famous barn doors to separate the space between our room and bathroom. You can check out more of his work HERE.
