We recently took a little much needed getaway trip to San Francisco and had the best time. Thought I would share a quick recap of what we did while we were there. We started the trip downtown and stayed for two nights at the Hotel Emblem. It was walking distance to lots of shopping, good restaurants and more. It was also a quick uber or Waymo ride (the self driving cars) to the fishermans warf and the pier. Of course we tried the self driving cars and it was definitely a cool experience.
After a couple nights in San Francisco we drove just over an hour to Sonoma and stayed at the Lodge Sonoma Resort. I absolutely loved the resort whch included a complimentary wine tasting to Sangiacomo Winery and daily tastings in the hotel lobby. We enjoyed checking out the cute town and trying a few local wineries.
Although it was a short getaway it came at a perfect time before all the holiday craziness. It was also the perfect fall cool weather so I could wear all the cozy sweaters and cute jackets. If you've been to San Francisco I'd love to hear some of your favorite spots!
