Happy Cinco de Mayo friends!!
I love that its been warm 80 degree weather here in SoCal and I’ve been able to wear some of my favorite summer styles. I’m definitely a hat person and with the summertime comes FUN summer hats. There are lots of new trends out there with hats right now so I wanted to share some of my favorite styles.
This panama hat that I’m wearing by bcbg has an added fringe detail to update the classic style which I love. If you don’t like the fringe detail or think it’s too much for you, you can always wear a classic panama or boater hat with a simple black fabric detail.
Another trend with beach hats right now is the pom pom detail. You can do several small pom poms like this Betsey Johnson hat or you can do a couple larger pom poms on the side of the hat.
The fun thing about summer hats is you can really add them to any outfit. Whether you’re wearing it to the beach with your swimsuit and cover up or wearing it while running errands with a cute off the shoulder top or summer dress. The best part is it’s an instant update to any outfit you have!!
