Happy Tuesday Friends! With the crazy summer heat we’ve been living at the pool and having fun with good friends.
Tomorrow I’m heading to Las Vegas for a few days with Stella & Dot but I first wanted to share with you a quick style tip. Maxi skirts are a fun summer item and I wanted to show you that one skirt can be styled multiple ways to create different looks. I found this adorable floral hi-low maxi skirt from American Eagle and I styled it two different tops and accessories to show you an edgier look and a boho style look.
For the first look I paired the skirt with a denim top from Zara. It’s a crop length with a frayed edge ruffle on one side giving it an edgier look. I paired it with a studded bag and large cat eye sunnies to complete the look. These sunnies by the way are under $10 and come in different colors so definitely check them out.
For the second outfit I wanted a more feminine bohemian style so I paired the skirt with this pinstriped cold shoulder top. The ruffle and tie strings add a girly touch to this flowy style top. I paired it with a beach style straw hat and pink handbag to add to the feminine touches.
I love how you can get two completely different looks by how you style this maxi skirt. It really shows how versatile a floral maxi skirt can actually be!
