Hi friends!!
We just got back from Montana and had such a great time. It was a little different than what we usually do, but the kids loved it.
CIRCLE BAR DUDE RANCH:
We started the trip off by staying in cabin at the Circle Bar Dude Ranch. They are all inclusive with provided breakfast, lunch and dinner. They have a game room that is filled with different activites from board games to ping pong and pool. They place you in a cabin depending on the size of your family. Our cabin had 4 bedrooms + 6 beds with a kitchen, a spacious livingroom. They have a river + horses everywhere and it was just such a great experience.

Before coming, we bought the package deal through travel zoo which allowed us to get one activity per person for each night we stayed. This was great because it allowed us to try many new things. Throughout the day there were any activities you could sign up for such as horseback riding, shooting, UTVS, archery and more. Our favorite was definitely the horseback riding.
HORSEBACK RIDING
They had two different rides each day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. When we checked in they had everyone fill out their height, weight, and riding skills so that they could match you with the perfect horse that fits you. The ranch workers were so amazing and helped the kids through everything. They guided us on this amazing ride that was actually pretty long, so we didn't feel like we needed to fill our day afterwards.

After our main activity each day, there were still many things to do such as fishing, tubing, lassoing, batmitten and more.
THE RIVER
When we were there it got pretty hot so the river was perfect. Rod and the kids went fishing and even though there weren't amyn fish they still had fun. We later when tubing and just relaxed. The water was on the colder side but it was so hot it didn't really matter.

Our next stop on the trip was Yellowstone. We stayed at the Dreamcatcher Tipi Hotel which was amazing. There was enough room for everyone to have their own bed without feeling crowded. They provided many fun things to do such as s'mores, outdoor games and live music. The staff here was really welcoming. When we woke up there was even deer right by our tipi which was surreal.

We had to stop off at the Yellowstone National Park which was just amazing. We went on two different hikes. One was by the waterfall and had such a pretty view. The second one was closer to the animals where we saw a few bison. The best part was that the hikes weren't too crazy so Blodnie was even able to do them just fine.
WHITE WATER RAFTING
They also had rafting there and it was so cool. We did level 1-3 which wasn't too dificult. Our instructor was great and even got the kids laughing. This was definetly one of those experiences we won't forget.

Our last stop was Livingston where we stayed in an Airbnb. The house was so nice and the kids were even able to get their own little area. The owners provided bikes for us so we were able to ride them into the town which made it easy and fun. The town was really pretty and there were so many shops to stop at. We even got acai' bowls which were pretty good.

And that concludes our trip to Montana. I highly recommend going and definitely stopping by at the dude ranch. We all had such a great time and it was just what we needed before summer ended.
