Hi friends!
Today I am sharing all about our Spring Break trip to St John! We seriously loved it and would definitely plan a trip back. From snorkeling, to relaxing on the beach + drinking margaritas, it was definitely a trip to remember.
To start off, we stayed at the Westin Resort which had so many different activities for the kids. They had many poolside games + a few sports courts that we took advantage of during our down time. They even had so many iguanas wandering around and we had a good time looking for them.
They island had many different excursions you could take. We did a pizza boat, but they also offered a taco boat, a kayak tour, and more. The weather was so nice and sunny our whole trip. The kids loved the snorkeling + the water was so clear!
Another thing we did was rent a small speed boat so we could check out all the beaches. Rod loved driving the boat even though he also tipped us over! Some of the beaches we hit was Cinnamon Bay and Hawknest Beach. Our favorite was Trunk Bay and even though there was a $5 dollar entry fee, it was so beautiful and totally worth it.
There were so many different local places that are perfect for dinner! We found Lime Inn and it quickly became our go to place on the island. Their tacos are so delicious + the best spicy watermelon margaritas.
Since St Johns is a smaller island, we spent a day over at St Thomas. They have cute little shops that we of course checked out. We went to this cute little bakery, Stir It Up, that had the best croissants + pasteries.
St John was one of the most beautiful islands we have been to! The only downside was that it was hard to get to. We flew into St Thomas and then take the ferry to St John and since it is a small island, things are pretty pricey. But it is a worth it + highly recommended. It truly was a memorable trip and it totally worth it if you love warm and tropical vacations!
