For Spring Break this year we spent a few days in Miami before heading to the Atlantis in the Bahamas. Although it was only a short trip we had such an amazing time in Miami and can't wait to go back.
We stayed at the McAlfin Ocean Plaza. It was a great hotel with the perfect location for everything we wanted to do. It was the cutest little boutique hotel. I love that it was right across the street from the beach and easily walking to so many activities. We enjoyed a beach day, spent time shopping and enjoyed all the great food spots.

Miami has lots to do + is a great place to visit whether you're going with just adults or enjoying a family trip with kids.
If you're heading to Miami soon here's some of my recommendations:
-The Art Deco district is great for walking around at night + having dinner. You can really walk around any time of day but it's got a great scene at night and there's so many amazing restaurants.
-Lincoln road mall is a great area with lots of great outdoor shopping + cute restaurants perfect for lunch. They've got all the great stores from Zara + H&M to adidas and much more. We actually hit up this spot a few times during our trip.
-Of course the beach is a must! You can rent chairs and an umbrella with your hotel front desk for an all day beach day. You can also rent ride bikes down the strand or talk a walk along the beach. There's even a little playground if you've got younger kids.

The food was in Miami was so good!! We loved almost every single place we went to and definitely have a few recommentations:
-BOTTA Italian street food had the most amazing italian sandwiches- I had to go there twice! Highly recommend the Figata sandwich.
-Espanolita Miami is delish! We had the most amazing paella + I loved the sangria.
-GRAFA pizza + pasta was perfection! The margarita pizza was amazing + a great price! We took pizza to go and ate it at the beach for lunch. Highly recommend it!
-Esquina Mexicana is such a cute spot + the food was so good! Highly recommend the Birria tacos + the Mocajete to share! The cute decor and atmosphere was great too.

And of course who could forget the fashion! I love how the style there is trendy but still a beachy theme. I love this palm tree skirt I wore which just screams Miami. There's also a lot of pink and green everywhere which I love. My son Hendrix picked up a pair of pink adidas sneakers while we were there and now I think I need a pair.
We had such a fun few days in Miami + I can't wait to go back. There's so much to do + eat- I highly recommend a trip! Have you been? If so I'd love to hear some of your favorite spots!
