Styling A Metallic Sweater Two Ways

I’ve been looking forward to the Holiday season and now that it’s November it feels that much closer!

One thing I love wearing in this time of year is Metallic’s.  It’s perfect for holiday parties or even just a casual winter day.  I found this adorable metallic sweater from Forever 21 that I wanted to share with you.  It’s cozy enough to wear during the day or you can easily dress it up for dinner out.

For the more casual look I paired it with my favorite distressed straight leg jeans from H&M.  And yes you will continue to see this denim on MAJOR repeat because it is one of my favorites and it goes with absolutely everything!  But really you can pair this sweater with just about any pair of jeans that you love and wear it on any simple winter day.  Add a beanie and mules for an even more cozy look.

To dress the sweater up a little bit I also paired it with some crop flare black pants I found at Urban Outfitters.  What I love about the cropped trend right now is you can really show off your cute shoes.  These black booties are super comfortable and I can definitely see them getting a lot of wear this season.  For another look you could also switch out these pants for a good pair of leather pants to add a moto cap for a little more edge.

style tip: add a front tuck to give an oversized sweater a little shape and emphasize your silhouette.
