Spring is just around the corner and I'm excited for warmer weather and new spring fashion. I am totally obsessed with all the fresh new styles that are trending right now. Current favorites are baggy jeans, maxi skirts and cargo anything! Check out all the looks I put together. Hope they inspire you to try out some of the latest spring trends.
Loose baggy jeans are all the rage at the moment. I thought this particular style was not for me but once tried it, I was obsessed! When styling baggy jeans you should opt for a more cropped style on top to keep it proportionate and not let the baggy jeans overwhelm you. Here I added my favorite bomber jacket over a cropped tank. By wearing a cropped top and jacket it highlights your waist which makes the whole outfit more flattering. These high rise loose jeans fit big in the waist so size down one if that’s not your thing. I am wearing my usual 24 short. Tank size is xs, Satin bomber size is xs, and sorel sneakers size down 1/2. This whole outfit screams comfort and I love to wear this to run errands or to hang out at our neighbothood park with the kids.
You will definitely be seeing the cargo trend everywhere this spring from pants, skirts and shorts. Here I dressed up a cargo maxi skirt by pairing it with a classic white button up and wore it to a lunch date with girlfriends. You can also keep it casual with a cozy cropped sweatshirt or sweater top. This cargo maxi skirt runs large so I sized down to xxs.
Maxi skirts are my go to piece for all my spring events. They are super flattering on all body types and I love the extra room for comfort and warmth for cooler spring days. This satin floral one also comes with a matching top if you'd like to wear them together.
Here I added a blazer over a sheer lace top to complete the look. Sheer lace tops are also a must have trend this Spring. You can wear these tops from day to night and they always look so polished. I just wear a nude bodysuit underneath. This whole outfit is great to wear to brunch or out with friends and you can even wear to work. For reference, the skirt, blazer and sheer lace top all fit tts and I'm wearing an xs.
