Can’t believe it’s already 2018!! Where did the time go? Looking back on 2017 I couldn’t be happier. I decided to really put myself out there and started my blog which has been nothing short of a roller coaster. My kids are happy and healthy and I have the most supportive hubby ever imaginable.
I’m looking ahead to 2018 and I’ve got lots of new exciting plans for the blog. Here’s what to expect…….
Style:
I’m obviously very passionate about Fashion and Style so this will continue to be the main area for the blog. I plan on continuing to highlight new trends for each season as well as styling ideas and shopping tips. My most popular posts were my casual everyday style so I will definitely keep those consistent. I had a blast making the Style video with Kaylee so expect to see more of those as well as more videos on Insta Stories with my daily style and what I’m currently shopping.
I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with a few fun brands on Instagram and I’ve got a few things in the works for the blog soon. Can’t wait to share some amazing new brands that I love.
I’m busy working on my Style Newsletter that will be out in the next coming months. This is where my subscribers and insiders can get exclusive access to my personal styling services for FREE. More specifics to come but I am so excited to share with you all!!
Beauty:
I’ve done a few posts on some of my favorite beauty products but this area has definitely been minimal. I’ve already got a post in the works for my night time beauty routine and I’m also planning on doing some hair and makeup tutorials this year so stay tuned! Overall I am someone that is drawn more to fashion than beauty products so please let me know if you have ideas of what you would like to see and comment below.
Home Decor:
Towards the end of the year I did a couple posts on my home decor style and I plan on continuing with that. Since we are in a newer home we are continuing to decorate and update the house so I will share that process with you. Next up on the list is my Master Bedroom! Hopefully that will be coming sooner rather than later.
Mom Life:
I originally started this blog to connect with other women {especially moms} and share easy ways to be stylish and have fun with fashion. My Mom Life posts where I share things I do with my kids has been overwhelmingly my most popular posts so I intend on really expanding this area. Being a Mom is the most important job I have and plan on sharing more of that part of my life with you. Expect more posts about my family life, mom approved products and tips or tricks that have worked for me.
Travel:
I’m a sucker for travel and exploring new cities so expect to see more. I will continue to share my travel adventures with you and will include more travel tips and tricks. I plan on sharing everything from my family vacations to couple weekend getaways and girls only adventures. I’m also working on hopefully attending Fashion Week in September so of course I will share all the insider details with you.

Here I’m wearing one of my favorite winter trends- the velvet blazer. I found this cute one from Abercrombie and Fitch during their awesome Black Friday sales. But good news is that it’s still available and on sale too!
I paired it with a classic gray bodysuit, cropped distressed denim and my favorite Rebecca Minkoff handbag. Here I’m wearing gray block heel boots for a casual dinner date but swap out the shoes for a good pair of mules and it’s perfect for running errands.
