Hi friends!!

I am sharing all about our trip to Cancun in today's blog post. We love a trip to Mexico and this was perfect. We stayed at the Westin Lagunamar and loved it so much. It is a resort that is perfect for families and has all of the amazing amenities. It has four pools, a spa, restaurants, and lots of activities to do for the whole family.

We flew out of Tijuana airport which was perfect. If you are thinking about it, here is the rundown. You park your car on the US side in designated parking areas which are usually priced around $10-$20 a day. I would definitely reserve your parking ahead of time for easier check in + you get a closer parking spot. After parking you follow the signs and you head through the CBX walkway. This is where you will scan your CBX crossing ticket which you need to purchase in advance. A lot of airlines offer to purchase the pass with the tickets. You need one for the way there and one for the way back per person. After the border crossing you can check in any bags at the airline or if you just have a carry on you can continue on. There is a customs area where they ask you a few questions about your trip + check your passport. After you are cleared through customs you then head to your gate and board the plane. It is super easy!  After you get to your destination you directly pick up your bags and you are off. I think it is super easy and so I would definitely check it out.  More info on Cross Border Express HERE

The resort was absolutely beautiful + so was the weather while we were there!  We spent most of the day at the beach and pool but we did go on a really fun jungle speedboat tour that I highly recommend!  It is a super cool experience + you'll definitely want to add it to your next Cancun trip.

You get to drive a speedboat which you can share or have your own. The boats go at full speed so it is definitely a thrill adventure. The guides take you around the mangrove canals of the Nichupté Lagoon and then you take a break to snorkel. Definitely a highlight of the trip especially for the kids.

One of my favorite parts of vacation are the outfits! Since the weather was so nice I got to wear lots of cute swimsuits + new spring stuff.  Below I'm sharing a few of my beach/pool looks as well as a few chic out to dinner outfits.

If you have any questions about our trip please don't hesitate to ask.
